We have shown that fibroblasts can profoundly suppress T cell function, preventing the immune system from killing cancer cells (Link to Cancer Research manuscript from 2017).

 

We are now developing therapies to dismantle this protective effect of fibroblasts, allowing the immune

system to target and eliminate pancreatic cancer cells.
